Cool Stuff: An eHarlequin App

Are you a smartphone, iPad, cool electronic geek?  If so, have you checked out the new Harlequin app?  It’s a fun tool.  You can check out the free reads, create a shopping wish list and even follow eHarlequin on Twitter.

I’ll admit, I was a little bummed to do an author search and find I wasn’t in there *g* I think, like eHarlequin’s store, that the app only covers current and next month’s releases.  I do hope they upgrade the search feature, though, so you can search fave authors and book titles, even if they don’t have current releases.

Now I’m seeing authors coming out with apps, too.  Mini snapshots of their site, complete with book lists, games and fun.  It almost gives me app envy *g*

So what do you think?  Are you an app fan?  Would you use one as a fun or shopping tool?

I love apps! I’ve enjoyed the Harlequin app. I wish it would allow a search of all authors too. Sometimes I wonder about previous books in a series or books by a certain author. I probably use an app more for fun and finding out more info about an author than for shopping. I purchase all my books in Kindle format so I typically buy them all at Amazon in order to sync my bookmarks across my devices.

I like the author apps that I’ve used too. It’s easy access to most recent releases and previous books. Very helpful when I need to know the order of a series.
